Wildcat Friends 2-24
Group 1
Staying out of the rain was the theme to Wednesday afternoon’s Wildcat Friends experience. Like many other UNH students hiding out in the MUB was on most minds. Kelly and Casey lead a scavenger hunt throughout the MUB having students find common areas as well as specific items like the MUB newspaper, which is entitled the “Toilet Paper.”
Despite the nasty rain Group One was able to visit the UNH Observatory in two groups during the class piece. The Observatory was small and filled with instruments and other materials used to investigate our out side universe. Unfortunately the groups were not able to see the stars through the telescope, but Rich Woolf was able to show many different things with other equipment and computers. The first and third Saturday of each month Mr. Wolf holds sessions, open to the public, to view the stars. He invites everyone to come.
